We’re Certified Organic – and Proud!

YES® is the purest range of intimate healthcare products on the market today. We’re Certified Organic, and proud of it. But what does that actually mean? And why does it make us better than the next brand with ‘organic’ slapped on the label?

Why Certified Organic Is as Good as It Gets

Our Certified Organic status is your guarantee that YES® products are pure, natural, and completely unadulterated. You can easily spot our Soil Association Organic Certification from the logo that’s proudly plastered on all of our products, and every page of this website.

The reason this matters so much is because beauty and wellbeing products labelled as "organic" don’t always contain organic ingredients. In fact, organic products – without certified status – might not meet any real organic standards at all.

To be Certified Organic is to meet stringent guidelines set by recognised organic certification bodies – bodies like The Soil Association. Under these stringent standards, ingredients must be grown and processed without:

  • Synthetic pesticides
  • Fertilisers
  • Genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
  • Artificial additives

This is something that’s incredibly important to us. We set out – 21 years ago – to make natural products that would improve vaginal health, without causing unwanted side-effects. And we’re still smashing it today.

Always Pure. Always Natural. Always Certified Organic.

While some brands might see their organic status as a tick-box exercise, to us, it’s about far more. Being Certified Organic reflects a deeper commitment to our customers – and our ongoing pledge to make vaginas happier.

Here’s how we do it:

  • Our ingredients, manufacturing, bottling, packaging, and storage meet stringent organic purity standards – making us the world’s first certified organic range of intimacy products.
  • Our production methods are ethical and have a minimal impact on the environment.
  • We regularly audit the trail of our organic ingredients – all the way from farm to bottle.
  • Our formulations are free from concerning chemicals, hormones, parabens, glycerine, and all known skin irritants.
  • We source and use natural ingredients, such as flax extract, aloe vera, cocoa butter, and shea butter.
  • We list all of our ingredients for full transparency.
  • Our products are designed to work in harmony with your body, without side effects.

What Goes onto Your Skin Matters

Your skin is an organ; your body’s largest organ, as it happens. And while it might seem like a barrier, its actually more of a sponge. Which means it sucks in what you put on – from facial creams and body lotions to cosmetics and lubricants.

In fact, up to 60% of what we apply to our skin gets absorbed into our bloodstream; while areas like our underarms and genital areas can absorb up to 100% of what’s applied to them. Pretty scary when you think about it – unless you’re using products you can trust. And that’s why being Certified Organic matters so much.

If you’re using products packed with harmful chemicals, those chemicals can enter your body and cause a whole host of potential health issues. So, by making sure that every product we make and market is full of the good stuff, you don’t have to worry about any synthetic chemicals disrupting your body’s natural balance.

What to Watch Out For

If a product you’re using hasn’t got Certified Organic Certification, and you’re not sure if the ingredients are good or bad, here’s a handy list of chemicals that are often found in health and beauty products, that haven’t been tested for their long-term effects on people:

  • Ethyl hexylsalicylate (Octisalate)
  • Homosalate
  • Imidazolidinyl urea
  • Octinoxate
  • Octocrylene
  • Polyquaternium 7
  • PEGs : 7;40;200;12
  • Polysorbate 20
  • Red 17 artificial colour 26100
  • Retinyl palmitate

Labels can be incredibly misleading, so always do your research!
