What Healthcare professionals say about YES®
Dr Naomi Potter, BSc MSc MBBS DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP BMS
Prize Winning Author: 2023 Book of the Year 'Menopausing'
"There are so many lubricants and moisturisers on the market, but their content varies enormously. Some contain substances known to be harmful or irritant but market themselves to the contrary. I recommend YES® to my patients because it is the product I have the most confidence in. I know it has a body similar pH which is so important for the vaginal microbiome and also that it does not contain any substances known to cause irritation or harm."
Mr Nick Panay, BSc MBBS MRCOG MFSRH Director of the West London Menopause and PMS Centre
“In my capacity as a Consultant Gynecologist with a special interest in premature menopause, I see many women suffering from menopausal vaginal atrophy, whose symptoms can be significantly eased through the use of an appropriate vaginal moisturiser/lubricant. Based on my professional experience of such products, and the feedback from my patients I can say without hesitation that the YES® range proves to be one of the most successful in combating the discomfort of dryness. I have confidence that its natural formulation affords effective re-moisturisation, while treating sensitive tissues with great gentleness.”

About YES®
YES® was founded over 20 years ago with an aim of ‘Making Vaginas Happy’ and to help transform the intimate healthcare market. With many of our products available on prescription, we’re recommended by Healthcare Professionals and menopause specialists alike. Co-founders Sarah Brooks (YES® CEO, chemist, author, and intimate health expert) and Susi Lennox have pioneered products designed to care for intimate health and increase pleasure without causing harm to people or planet. Their mission remains the same today, to ‘Change The World From The Inside’ with products that are clean, natural and certified organic. Products designed to alleviate vaginal dryness and irritation while respecting intimate pH.
Before the birth of YES®, Sarah was working at Pfizer during the launch of Viagra. Whilst this invention ignited a kind of sexual revolution for men, there was little to support the ‘Viagra wives’ left behind, whose intimate health often made physical intimacy impossible. It was from this need that YES® was created. Our award-winning natural intimacy products have transformed the lives of women in over 100 countries, supporting them in managing some of their most intimate symptoms.

Smart Moisture Release Technology
Vaginal moisturisers should be iso-osmotic with vaginal tissues, meaning they only rehydrate the tissues that need it. WHO recommends that the osmolality of a personal lubricant should not exceed 380 mOsm/kg to minimise risk of outer skin damage.
Many popular products greatly exceed this measurement (often reaching 1200 mOsm/kg or more). Osmolality studies have shown that YES® VM (250 mOsm/kg) and YES® WB (154 mOsm/kg) are some of the only moisturisers and lubricants on the market that fall within the ideal range. Iso-osmotic moisturisers gently replenish dry vaginal tissues without forcing or pulling excessive water into them and they are designed to release hydration as the body requires it over 1 to 3 days.
YES® VM (Vaginal Moisturiser) prioritises osmolality in its formulation, ensuring it only releases moisture where and when your body needs it.
YES® VM, Vaginal Moisturiser
✅ Award Winning Vaginal Moisturiser, available on Prescription in the UK
YES® VM is a natural vaginal moisturiser which relieves vaginal dryness and itching fast. pH matched to the vagina, it works in harmony with your body, and because it's a moisturiser, it lasts longer than a lubricant (up to three days). YES® VM prioritises osmolality in its formulation, ensuring it only releases moisture where and when your body needs it.
NICE guidelines recommend a vaginal moisturiser as the first defence against vaginal dryness.
Women undergoing treatment for cancer
A recent study by the British Menopause Society on oestrogen deficiency symptoms in women treated for breast cancer advises that the first-line treatment for vaginal dryness should be a vaginal moisturiser or lubricant.
YES® natural intimate lubricants and moisturisers have become a valued addition to the survivorship programme, supporting sexual well-being in women who have had treatment for gynaecological and breast cancers. When radiotherapy, chemotherapy or surgery have affected sexual function and have caused the distress and discomfort of vaginal dryness, it is vital that the purest possible non-hormonal solution is offered.
To resolve vaginal dryness without hormones or synthetic chemicals means that firstly the dry tissues need to be rehydrated by the regular use of a water-based moisturiser, and secondly, restoring intimacy will often require the use of an intimate lubricant that offers superior, long-lasting, non-sticky glide.
Peri-menopause and Menopause
Up to 90% of post-menopausal women experience vaginal dryness, making this one of the most frequent symptoms of perimenopause and menopause women report. Our research suggests women are more likely to reach out to their doctor for support with this symptom than ever before thanks to the profile menopause has gained in recent years. Demand for hormone free solutions is growing alongside the demand for HRT .
YES® products offer pH matched relief from menopausal vaginal dryness symptoms, which designed and manufactured in accordance with medical device regulations. YES® continues to work alongside some of the leading minds and organisations in menopause treatment to provide the best support and resources we provide to healthcare professionals and patients.
